RADIATE08 — Radiate His Love

A four day gathering of college students who want to radiate His love.

December 28 – January 1 in Washington, D.C.

Main Sessions

We will have meetings twice a day where we will hear from our guest speakers and musicians. Darryl Smith will be teaching us from the Word of God all three mornings! Our totally awesome emcee, Shelby Abbott, will be our host.

Day of Faith

On the afternoon of the 30th, the entire RADIATE conference will travel to The Mall and pray for America and the campuses in Washington, DC. Last year, we had almost 1,000 people holding hands near the Washington Monument praying for our country. It’s impossible for strangers not to stop and ask what we are up to…

The LNC

Each evening, the LNC (Late Night Café) will be open after our evening sessions. This is a great time to hang with your friends and meet someone new.

Seminars

One of our goals at RADIATE08 is to teach and equip each student on how to Win their friends to Christ, Build them in their faith, and Send them out to Win, Build, Send all over again. We will have many seminars that will help you grow in these areas and give you resources to take back on your campus. You’ll definitely want to take advantage of this time!

Worship Seminar

This year, we have the privilege of hearing from some of the pioneers of modern worship music in an intimate breakout session. This is an extended seminar for student worship leaders or anyone interested in learning more about songwriting, incorporating Christ-centered doctrine in their music, or maintaining a worship team on campus. Brenton Brown, Vicky Beeching and The Bridge Band will be teaching us and answering all your questions. Stay tuned for more details!

Prayer Journey

There won’t be a shortage of fun activities to do at RADIATE08 to keep your four days jammed packed. So, we wanted to create a space that you can escape to and spend some time with God. It’s awesome to worship Him with 1,000 people singing and praising, but it’s also so important to stop, be still and listen to what Jesus may need to say to you. The Prayer Journey is a great place to do that, and will be open 24 hours a day.

New Year’s Eve

We will rock in the New Year with worship and prayer as well as an awesome party. We’ve done decades parties in the past, which requires some dressing up (or down), but we want to change it up this year. The students at Sneak Peek ’08 have voted on a $5 Prom! This is going to be awesome. Just take 5 bucks, find the nearest Salvation Army/Goodwill and find the best, or tackiest prom outfit you can for $5.
